Locally rooted. Community powered.

Locally rooted. Community powered. Pet obsessed.

Zoomies & Purr began with one simple promise: every wag, purr, and happy tail in our store will ripple outward to help pets and people across Northern Nevada. From day one, we decided that every dollar of net profit would circle right back into our hometown—supporting rescue groups, food banks, and community programs that keep pets in loving arms.

We know what it feels like to watch a shelter animal finally go home, or to hand a struggling family the food that lets them keep their best friend. Over the years, we’ve welcomed elderly pets into our home when they needed extra care, bottle-fed newborn kittens through sleepless nights, and sat through midnight fundraiser meetings when budgets were tight and options felt thin. Instead of waiting for “someday,” we built generosity into our business model: 100% of our net profits are donated to the organizations that keep hope alive for animals and the humans who love them.

More Than a Store
Our shelves are stocked with the healthiest foods and most joyful toys we can find—but our mission goes far beyond retail. We host free workshops, adoption pop-ups, and supply drives. We lend an ear when a pet parent is overwhelmed and celebrate every victory, big or small. When you walk through our doors, you step into a circle of care that stretches from your own furry family member to countless pets still waiting for their chance.

The Ripple You Create
A single treat bought here can fund life-saving medicine tomorrow. A new leash can help keep a beloved companion in the arms that adore them. And when the lights go out at closing time, the love you left behind keeps traveling—to foster homes, food banks, and families who needed a little help to keep believing.

Thank you for choosing Zoomies & Purr.
Together we’re proving that a local pet shop can be so much more than a place to buy supplies—it can be a lifeline, a classroom, and a beacon of kindness for every tail and whisker in our community.
