Special Orders

Zoomies & Purr – Special Order Policy
(Effective July 17, 2025)

1. What Qualifies as a Special Order

A “special order” is any merchandise that we do not normally stock or that we bring in specifically at your request (e.g., unusual bag sizes, exotic protein formulas, prescription diets, custom collars, bulk quantities, or specialty accessories).

2. How to Place a Special Order

  1. Request & Quote
    • Stop by the counter, call 775‑415‑WOOF (9663), or email Woof@zoomiesandpurr.com with the brand, product name, size, flavor, and quantity.
    • We’ll confirm availability and provide an estimated price and lead‑time (most items arrive in 5–10 business days; custom items may take longer).

  2. Deposit
    • Orders under $50: no deposit required.
    • Orders $50–$250: 50 % deposit.
    • Orders over $250 or custom‑branded items: 100 % prepayment.
    • Deposits are applied to the final balance when you pick up your order.

  3. Confirmation
    • You’ll receive an emailed or printed confirmation with an estimated arrival window and pickup deadline.

3. Notification & Pickup

  • We’ll notify you by text, phone, or email the moment your order lands in our Sparks store.

  • Please pick up within 5 calendar days. After 5 days we’ll try a second reminder; after 10th  day uncollected items may be returned to the distributor and your deposit forfeited and donated to a local rescue (unless you’ve arranged an extension with us).

4. Cancellations & Changes

  • You may cancel or modify the order within 24 hours of placement at no charge.

  • After 24 hours:

    • Standard items: deposit is refundable minus any restocking fees our supplier charges.

    • Custom or personalized items: deposits become non‑refundable once fabrication begins.

5. Returns & Exchanges

Special orders are generally final sale because they’re tailored to you. However:

  • If the product arrives damaged or defective, we’ll replace or refund it in full.

  • If your pet refuses the food, we’ll work with the manufacturer on your behalf to find a solution or credit whenever possible.

  • All return requests must be made within 7 days of pickup with the original receipt.

6. Pricing & Promotions

  • Special‑order items are priced at MSRP or better; loyalty points accrue normally.

  • Store‑wide discounts, coupons, and promotional pricing do not apply unless specifically stated.
